- Hi-Fi Prototyping (complete app flow)
The Challenge
How do I keep the form easy to use and how to manage the outrageous amount of data input without making it harder than the pen and paper forms?
Since the end-user of this app is going to be in the primary area of a natural disaster, the app needs to be error-friendly with the user and to allow the user a simple display of the questions in the form.
Solution:
The request was urgent, and I already had the paper forms in hand I skipped the structure phase in my design process in order to save time, and also the client didn’t have the time to make multiple reviews of the progress.
Part of the requirements was to keep the structure of the forms untouched. Based on that, I decided to only design form elements like checkboxes, selects, text areas, etc. and focus on the design and experience of the following features:
Simple Dashboard to see the status of the forms and also see every form that has been filled.
Clear navigation inside the forms allows the user to go back and forth with the information.
